A fellow Natural sent me some information on a Natural Hair Sorority on Facebook.
An interesting concept, I couldn’t help but check it out and see what it was all about. What can I say, I’ve always wanted to be in a Sorority. What better one than for Natural hair 🙂

So I’m not sure my hair care will change much now that the weather is getting cooler.
I do know I want to minimize my regimen and make it more consistent.
Because I’m often trying new products, I fall into the trap of starting and stopping a new product.
- I’m going to start by going through all the products I’m not using because they didn’t give me the desired result
- I’m going to use up what little products I might have left in a jar
- I’m going to use one product at a time until it is finished!
It’s been a while since I spent my weekend doing my hair. With the New York subways shut down as Hurricane Irene draws near, we won’t be venturing out this weekend. This will give me a chance to catch up on my blog and watch You Tube videos 🙂 It also means I can finally Henna my hair!!!
I try to apply a Henna treatment every 3 months. It is a long process and I have to be in the mood to do it. The last time I did a treatment was in May so it is definitely time. Those gray hairs are starting to resurface 🙂

The last book I purchased on Black hair was a bit of a disappointment so I’m hoping this one lives up to all the praise I’ve been reading about on the hair forums.
For more info on what the book has to offer, please check out their website The Science of Black Hair .
I can’t wait to get my copy!!!
I’ve created a forum for you to send me your questions.
